October 2024 marked an exciting milestone: it has been 20 years since Aviation Projects' Industry Gateway Schools program partner, Mueller College, launched its innovative aerospace education program. Over the past two decades, this program has inspired countless students, giving them hands-on experience and invaluable insights into the world of aviation.
To celebrate, our local Aerodrome Reporting Officer, Sharna Tonkin, visited Mueller College to engage with students and department head, Mr. Anthony Banks. Sharna and the students enjoyed a series of exciting activities centered around flying model planes, including challenging and entertaining exercises such as limbo, streamer cutting and much more.
This fantastic milestone highlights the importance of educational partnerships, nurturing the next generation of aviation professionals and showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm that makes the aerospace program at Mueller College such a remarkable success.
