Aviation Projects attended the Dalby Drone Industry Forum, to hear about the latest innovations in the use of remotely piloted aircraft, and the changes to CASR Part 101 that come into effect this Thursday 29 September 2016.
The regulatory changes reduce red tape for commercial operators of remotely piloted aircraft that weigh less than 2 kg, and establish a category of 'excluded' RPAs that may be operated without specific authorisations from CASA, under certain conditions.
Aviation Projects is assisting a number of clients to secure regulatory approvals from CASA for the operation of medium and large RPAs in various (non-excluded or 'included') circumstances.
