Aviation Projects Contributes to AviAssist 2025 Training Program

Aviation Projects is proud to provide expert volunteer support to the AviAssist Foundation, a partnership committed to growing the understanding and knowledge base of aviation safety across the African continent.

The foundation is an independent international and impartial non-profit organisation, championing the cause of aviation safety in Africa. Through its various initiatives, the foundation works to promote best practices and improve safety standards, ensuring safer skies for all.

A key component of the foundation's mission are its comprehensive training programs, designed to adhere to international standards set by leading aviation authorities, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). These programs are delivered by highly qualified and experienced professional volunteers from a vast range of aviation backgrounds.

As part of our commitment to supporting the foundation, Aviation Projects' Managing Director, Keith Tonkin, will be delivering two courses as part of the upcoming 2025 training program: Obstacle Limitation Surfaces, and Airport Planning and Airspace Protection.

Through this collaboration, Aviation Projects and the AviAssist Foundation continue to contribute to a shared goal of advancing aviation safety and efficiency throughout the industry.

Both training courses will be held in Namibia, taking place late November 2025.

At Aviation Projects, we provide trusted advice about airport planning, development and operations and aerodrome safeguarding. Contact us today.
