Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority has launched a new initiative, the Pledge for Safety, as part of its broader pilot safety campaign – Your safety is in your hands.
Both the pledge and the campaign aim to address emerging safety risks and reduce avoidable accidents by strengthening individual and organisational commitments to aviation safety.
Organisations play a vital role by providing the tools, resources, and support their people need to operate safely. A pledge at this level sets a powerful example, fostering a community or workplace where safety comes first.
By taking the voluntary pledge, we:
- commit to the actions that keep aviation safe
- show leadership by publicly demonstrating our dedication to safety
- strengthen safety culture by promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- join a network of professionals and organisations collectively upholding the highest safety standards.
