One of the wonderful things about community engagement is that it enables us to interact with and assist others in a way we otherwise wouldn't as individuals.
After hours, AP's Alesi Molesi regularly attends her local foodbank to open their doors and volunteer with her local church to help provide for those in need in their community of Darra, a south-western suburb in the City of Brisbane.
Many churches run foodbanks from their halls and Alesi enjoys being an active member participating in the foodbank operation, which is available Monday - Friday, 09:30am - 03:30pm.
