Aviation Projects provided a relief Airport Manager for Emerald Airport. This role involved providing an experienced airport management professional for a period of three months with operational responsibility for safety, security, compliance, management of staff and contractors and interaction with aviation stakeholders.

The relief Airport Manager was responsible for:

  • Management and oversight of the day to day operational activities of the airport including supervision of direct reporting staff
  • Oversight and input into current projects including soon to be advertised tenders
  • Input into monthly Council management reports
  • Attend any relevant weekly or monthly meetings regarding operations, strategy and finance and report directly to the General Manager Commercial Services.
