Aviation Projects has been integral to the success of our airport and continues to be a valued advisor to our business.
Aviation Projects is working with a number of Queensland Health Services and Hospitals, designing upgrades to hospital helipads to improve their ability to support the larger AW139, now in common use by aeromedical service providers across the state.
Surveying the obstacle environment is a fundamental input to designing flight paths that achieve standard obstacle clearance gradients. This week Keith Tonkin had the pleasure of spending time with Senior Surveyor and Director of Airport Survey Consultants, Bryan Fitzgerald, as they travelled throughout South-East Queensland, meeting local health service staff and surveying their helipad sites.
