The scope of work included:
- Determination of runway characteristics, declared lengths and revised approach and take-off areas for various options
- Consideration of Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system location and implications to minimum eye height over threshold
- Analysis of the impact on aircraft operational performance for each option, using publicly available aircraft performance data and by consulting with the major aircraft operator
- Preparation of construction cost estimates for each option.
